Anyway, we had lost contact with Joyce for about a week (she went to Rotterdam for a spell), but last night Sister Twiggs and I rode down her street in our white/silver helmeted glory and came to meet up with the whole fam, who was outside playing and talking. I love the Curacao-ians - they're just super fun and sassy:)

ANYWAY, I talked to them and Sister Twiggs talked to Joyce, got a new appointment AND she wants to come to church this week!:) ALSO! Dudders came to church AGAIN in the swankyist green sports coat:) He's a good person, truly. Things are going really well with them and I'm so very excited to see how things progress:)

"Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness..."
None of us have every seen God in this life, nor will many of us likely do so in the near future, but as we love one another, we are able to get a glimpse of Him:) He is apparent to us through the love of others-it is through loving others that we find Him.
Elder Christofferson said, "as we serve our fellowman in appropriate ways, the more substance there is to our souls, indeed it is easier to find ourselves because there is so much more of us to find." (Mormon Message, "Lift") We find ourselves and Heavenly Father as we love one another and serve them.
President David O. McKay said, 'the noblest aim in life is to strive to make other lives better and happier" and I would go as far to say that in turn, we become more as our Savior, the noblest of aims in life:) He loves us and wants us to help one another! I love you all!
Peace n'blessings
